What happened here: ME!

You may wonder where all the fancy stuff went. Where are the upcoming event list, the location descriptions, that small community thing?

I came to a point where I needed to realize what works on this site and what does not. So what happened? Everything is just disabled or hidden. Maybe in the future we'll see it again, or not.

I used this change for a second big change. I ran into a bunch of problems using the old domain "beatelic.de" and decided to go global. I changed everything to the english language and added a super ".com" domain.

What will be the future of this website? That's my favorite one. Being a photographer for "beatelic.de" and a DJ as "Beatelic" got people a little bit confused. Even me. And now, where this whole community thing is gone, this website will be exclusively for me as person. A portfolio for event photography and a blog for everything else. There is still a long list of features needed for this website, but step by step.

A little background information on this project. There are currently 19.764 pictures stored in the database. The total amount of hits is 2.8Mio, mostly created by the googlebot and myself. The 1200 events are linked with 2140 different artists.

I reached a 8.0 score (of 10) on Nibbler (http://nibbler.silktide.com/reports/beatelic.com). I lost a lot of links pointing to my website. It will take a while until the new domain is spreaded over the internet again.
